Your pharmacy has reduced the amount of time spent chasing delayed medication has one call to your team and you chase it for us; delivery staff are friendly professional and polite always.  Your service has been smoothing we have not had to use it much but when we have, we are pleased with the response. I have recommended you to several homes in the area and to two new care managers taking up new post.

Since Partnering with you we have noted a reduction in time spent by the nursing team in ordering, chasing and corresponding with pharmacies. All members of your team have been helpful, courteous and friendly and communicate well with us which has really been appreciated by our team. 

Our monthly medications always arrive on time and are nicely packaged.

The MAR charts provided are clear, and the inserted photographs of our residents on both the charts and Medicine boxes are helpful and important in reducing potential errors. 

The introduction of your delivery driver has been so helpful in ensuring our residents receive acute medications in a timely manner, this coupled with the 24/7 out of hours hotline has ensured a seamless service for our residents.

Our home chose Devon pharma as our nominated pharmacy approx 3 years ago. One of the biggest benefits to the service is how easy it is to get in touch with the pharmacy team and speak to someone directly about any issues – no silly voicemails or prolonged waiting time. Staff are always polite and happy to help.  

During that time, we have noticed a lot of improvements to the service especially around delivery of medication and communication with us and doctors surgeries about any issues with missing prescriptions which is very appreciated.  

The pharmacy staff members are very easy to approach either over the phone or via email.  The team can respond to our emails very quickly and feed back to us if certain medication can be supplied or not and explained to us why.

The nursing team found the most beneficial aspect will be receiving medications when the stock was running low for our service users, the pharmacy team has been kindly pull the items out and supply them to the Home from the monthly supply in the past.

In regards deliveries, our service users will benefit more if your pharmacy can provide an extra delivery at lunch time, please, especially antibiotics and Palliative care crisis medications for syringe pump.

We changed to Devon Pharma in December 2024 as our previous pharmacy was consistently lacking in the service, we expected and needed as a busy residential home. Devon Pharma made the transition seamless, everything was transferred to them ready for our monthly order without us having to lift a finger!

Before we made our first order, they sent us a calendar of ordering and delivery dates, and were more than accommodating when we had to change our order date due to staffing. All orders have since been delivered on time, or earlier, well packaged and fully labelled and barcoded for use with our eMar system.

There were some teething issues at the beginning, but these have all been rectified quickly and efficiently by Devon Pharma. They are always quick to reply to emails and their out of hours service has been brilliant, we have only needed to use it twice but both times our calls were answered and dealt with promptly. They have often prescribed and delivered medications on weekends, the same day and at short notice with no issues.

Their delivery of interim medications has been flawless, their delivery drivers are always friendly, on time and professional. 

They always follow up with me or ask if they’re unsure about something, and they chase up missing  prescriptions with the GP, so we don’t have to! 

Overall, we are highly satisfied with the service we are getting from Devon Pharma and hope to continue using their pharmacy for a long time.

Great Pharmacy. We switched over to Devon Pharma from another local pharmacy/store. Couldn’t be happier with the change. The staff at Devon Pharma truly care about their client’s wellbeing.
